Game interface
The bottom bar carries your HP and MP orbs, the quick slots, the skill bar and the window buttons. The windows are the ones you remember:
- Character info with status, stats (allocate 1, 5 or 10 points at a time), titles and equipment.
- Inventory with backpack tabs and 72 cells, the equipped items, and the warehouse at a keeper (B), which can be extended by 50 cells at a time.
- Skills: basic skills and class skills, an auto-skill rotation of up to eight, and a quick-cast bar.
- Quest archive, class archive, area map, full map and the world map; the Book of Maelle for fast travel.
- Community: general chat, party, apprentice, friends, whispers with auto-answer, a chat filter and the mail box.
- Trade and the personal shop; Party matching; the System menu.
- Guild: announcement, member and information panels.
Skills
Every hero learns up to 30 skills and may unlearn and relearn as they travel. Basic skills are shared; class skills are listed with each class on the Characters page. Frequently used skills can be combined into one cast.
PK system
Service towns are safe. In the wilds, player killing follows the original's rules and penalties; when the PK toggle is on you can attack another player at once without holding Ctrl. The rules are being restored zone by zone and the current state is posted on the News page.
Zones
From Castle Cronous through Sitis Terra, Amara, Tarra, Chakra, Ma-dravas, Kaineus, Unos, Malus Ora, Hidden Village, Entice and Entice Wood, Hover Island and the Flying Ship Narsha to the Rivers of Resurrection, Flame, Ordeal and Hero and Monster Mill. The full list, with what is open today, is on the World page.
Items & smelting
Basic, medicine, weapon, armour and divine items, plus the special items of later years. Every item now carries its real identity, variant name and packaged Damage or Defense; drops and combination results roll options at 50 / 35 / 15.
Smelting works from the inventory: open the smelting panel, follow its steps, confirm. The smelted item keeps its identity. Enhancement scaling is built but held at ×1 until its numbers are approved.

Growth items
Origin
The Golden Age of CroNous came to an end in the Period of Chaos, when the gods who created the universe fought with each other and the evil forces created a crystal of power called 'Primodium'. The three gods ordered a 3rd class god to destroy it. Tricked by Arkmodeum, who worshipped Macuapel blindly, he lost his powers and, facing death, hid his spirit in the formidable weapons he carried and fell into a long sleep, his mission still written in his mind. When a weapon holding his spirit meets a fragment like his own soul, it transforms into his original form with its full power. Arkmodeum buried the weapons and scattered fakes across Cronous; the fakes vanished with the Tartanos War and the advent of Primodium. People named the true weapons "Growth Weapons". They will be awakened only by a true hero.
How they grow
- Growth items drop from boss- and death-level monsters, at level 1. The four Growth Weapons are Ray (Fighter, two-hand), Kara (Valkyrie), Jade (Magician) and Torr (Savage).
- Equip one and right-click it for its menu: Dialogue / Silence (it talks), and Experience Control, 80:20 or 70:30 between you and the item. The item's level must never pass your own.
- A growth item has stamina like a character; it diminishes when it is attacked or touched by strange energy, never while it sleeps. Restore it with a Water Drop of Growth: Tear of Growth (Montanus Temple) + Growth Dust (Ma-dravas), combined at the Growth Spring in Sitis Terra or Castle Unos.
- Ray: 180–240 damage at level 1, +2/+2/+2 per level to 10, +4/+3/+4 to 20, +5/+4/+6 to 30, and 294–335 at the Perfect Form of level 31, where its options unlock a class or basic skill.
- Options arrive by level: a stat at 2, a Master percentage (Venom, Mad, Elite, Death) at 11, an element at 12, HP or MP absorption at 21, Lucky or Golden Hand at 22, a skill at 31.
- At Perfect Form, NPC Frederik, the arms dealer in Castle Cronous, engraves a name of up to 10 characters for 100,000 Cro. It becomes the only one in Cronous.
- A dead growth item keeps 80% of its power; resurrect it at the Growth Spring with a Soul Stone (50% or lower at high level). Log in with its carrier at least every 15 days or it dies.
Pet system
Raise a companion that follows, fights and carries. Its guide will be published here with the pet system itself.
Colour system
Dye armour with the colour system and its material formulas. In Reborn, armour colours are packaged with the item data and shown on your hero and in the inventory.
Union War
A guild can construct a new castle or take one already built; the ruler assigns positions and the guild collects taxes and forges better weapons by managing the castle and its surroundings. The siege itself needs all four classes to hold the walls. Each war is announced a week ahead on the News page.
Colosseum
The Colosseum, Hero Mode and Free Battle Mode.

Bosses drop diverse bundles: at least ten meaningful items, guaranteed armour, a weapon, a necklace, a ring, a pendant, a growth item and a holy or divine item, with luck capped at 1.5. Hard bosses above 325 million HP drop twenty. Monster drops may be picked up by any player at once; tutorial rewards only by their recipient; everything on the ground fades after its lifetime whether or not anyone is nearby.
Master system
Masters, Master Armor and the Master Growth Weapons. Only Masters can handle the Master Growth Weapons: two-handed, levels 1 to 3, gaining 50% of the character's experience, and able to transform at level 3. Level 50 Master Growth Weapons combine at the Growth Fountain into new weapons (Adolph and Baron for Valkyries from Ru + Ray and Buwl + Kara, Pavihan for Magicians from Aiur + Jade, Kuper for Savages from Torr + Tumba), at 50% success or 70% with a Mamel Stone; failure consumes the materials. Second-Master growth weapons (Jakas, Kaenu, Uzak, Kenas) start at second-master level 160 and transform for 5 to 30 minutes by level, with a six-hour wait or a Clock of Growth.
How to become a Master, and what changes when you do, is on the Characters page.
